Nomadic house-hob Graham Schmidt has been a freelance illustrator since 2003, working under the nom-de-plume 'Grimmalkin.' He was first sighted asleep in a handbag in a Circle K parking lot in California, with subsequent reports following a steady migration up the West Coast to Portland, Oregon, where he earned a BFA at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. He is currently in Wisconsin.

Graham likes to bake bread, make tea, sit up to his whiskers in clear mountain rivers, and stare wide-eyed from a hidden corner to learn how machines, natural processes, societies, and people work.

Graham is currently open for commissions.
